Shuttered Asbury Park Venue To Reopen

House Of Independents

A flood damaged one of the Jersey Shore’s many venues last September and now, the new owners of House Of Independents have announced its doors will reopen in the summer. Fourteen shows have been set so far starting June 9 in the afternoon with “The Latin Social,” a party with live performances and a DJ providing spins for salsa dance lessons. Scheduled so far are comedian Ed Bassmaster (June 13), Dueling Pianos (June 14), a Taylor Swift dance party (June 21), a celebration of K-pop (June 22), Jersey Shore Freestyle with TKA (June 28), Remember Jones (June 29), “Cthulhu: The Musical” puppet show (July 2), Hyperglow (July 5), Prince Daddy & The Hyena (July 9), a Justin Bieber Tribute Dance Party (July 12), United We Dance (July 26), Louie DeVito (August 31) and the Koo Koo comedy dance duo (September 15).
